Cruelty and Weakness

Cruelty steams from inner weak despair,
A hollow place where kindness finds no home.
When strength is lost in shadows of despair,
The seeds of hardship fall on barren loam.

Throughout the ages, time has cast its gaze,
On nations frail, whose leaders lacked resolve.
The weak at helm, they forged the darkest days,
As suffering and strife began to evolve.

When empathy is swallowed by the void,
And fear becomes the language understood,
The chains of pain and sorrow are employed,
To shape the world in harsh and bitter wood.

Yet history whispers of a truth profound:
That strength is born when hearts and hands unite.
But weak they are, the rulers who confound—
Creating nights where cruelty takes flight.

So watch the signs, as western skies grow grim,
The roots of hardship grow from souls grown thin.
For weak within, the outward world grows dim,
And cruel times mark the days we're living in.

Love and Strength

Love demands a sturdy heart,
A fortress firmly built from depths far apart.
It asks for courage, raw, unblemished and true,
To face the fiercest storm, to see the journey through.

Strength is forged in battle’s relentless heat,
Not found within the calm, nor in swift retreat.
It bends and breaks, then mends itself again,
A silent, steadfast force through both joy and pain.

To love is not a gentle, fleeting breeze,
But rugged cliffs and ever-tossing seas.
It calls for hands that tremble not nor shake,
And souls that boldly risk all they dare to take.

For in the struggle, deepest strength is born,
Within love’s fierce embrace, both bruised and worn.
A tender might that bravely dares to stand,
Love asks—and strength will always lend its hand.
